Obituary of Anna Mae Barton
Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Wednesday, November 24,2021 Anna Mae Barton (nee Howes) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the wonderful age of 101. Daughter of the late Robert Howes and the late Annie Renwick. Predeceased by her beloved husband Alex Barton. Anna Mae was the youngest and the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Shirley Howes, Frances Barton, Lloyd Howes, Florence Anderson, Colin Howes, and Helena Bradley. She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and their families.
Anna Mae loved spending time in her gardens attending to her beautiful flowers and enjoyed bird watching. She had an exclusive collection of dolls she had accumulated over many years.
She had a special place in her heart for her dogs. Anna Mae always enjoyed family visits and loved to share stories over card games, parties, and meals. Anna Mae's motto was "Laughter is the best medicine".
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Monday, November 29,2021 at 11 am at the Fenaghvale Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
