Condolences
Accept our late condolences as we just read about the passing of Dave. He was a very pleasant man with a lot of stories to tell. We enjoyed him and Lucette every time we met at the farm. Marcel and Sylvette Leroux
I flew lots of hours with Dave when I was first hired by Nordair in 1978. Thanks for those memories, Dave.
May you fly on under sunny skies and starry nights and sail a calm sea with a fair breeze.
Rest In Peace my friend.
Capt. Doug Paine
NORDAIR
A Tree of Remembrance was planted in memory of David by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Dave and I go back to his Flying Instuctor days when I was one of his first students and over the years we spent many happy hours in the air. Valerie and I became firm friends with him and Lucette and even though we lost touch for a while, Dave went door to door in our old neighbourhood (between flights As an Air Canada Captain) until he found us again. We will never forget Dave and his love of life, his sense of humour still brings laughter to us. His friendship and decency have made a huge positive impact in our lives and he will always be remembered with love.
Valerie and Ray Parry
My grandfather did a lot of amazing things in his life. He was many things to many people. But to me he was my pappy, he was always there when i needed him and he will always be in my heart.
We will see eachother again Pappy. I love you

Hey! Dave... Holding your hand and "thee look" YOU gave me, you still had a lot a LUV to give. Leaving your beloved partner for over 54 years, and had still much to share. Grumpy you might have been, hard on the ones you cared for and loved! Time will cure and solve mixed feelings and I wish ALL involved around have time to breath in and share with your BELOVED PARTNER & WIFE for 54 years, all the pain, grief and sorrow she has and still is living, almost ALONE, but I always will HELP, as I and Jojo ALWAYS did, in the past, present and future. My big sister was, is and ALWAYS Will be. A life time shared since my birth untill now. I feel so much and have so many GOOD MEMORIES before and since1967 and untill now, going to the hostipital, burning a nose, singing songs misunderstood and Up to the Cat. And it ALWAYS kept on going. Rest in Peace DAVE, we'll play chess and have a drink, by the fire, and ALL will be fine, move by move, one by one, and day by day, LUCETTE, my big sister, will get better and wounds should and will be healed. All our love to the FAMILY, ours!
Your Bro. Jacque and Johanne, Jean-Philippe & Jenna.
More than love, LOT'S A LOVE.
Our family met Dave 9 years ago when we moved into the house next to his and Lucette's home. right from the day we met, Dave had a heart of gold. right from the day we moved in they both welcomed us with open arms. if ever we needed something or needed help with something Dave was always there. Dave was always asking if we needed anything fixed and there were times I made things up just so he could be kept busy in his shop or running back and forth to get tools. we spent many times just talking in his yard or on his back deck with him and Lucette. he was a fascinating person with a never-ending line of stories to tell. he will be greatly missed by all of our family and we all know he is at rest now and no longer in pain. until we meet again Dave, fly hi.
your friends and neighbors,
Steve Charlene and Kids.
