Obituary of Constance Ashworth

Peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Friday, October 8,2021 Connie Ashworth (nee Astbury) passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late John Ashworth.  Dearly loved sister of Betty (Astbury) Cross.  Dear Aunt of Alan and Christine Cross, Karen and Stewart Allen, David and Aimee Ashworth, John and Kim Ashworth and many grand-nieces and nephews.

 

Born in Lowville,Morrisville Township, Vermont, USA, Connie and John lived in Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec where they spent their career years. They retired to Ontario where they lived for many years in the Perth area and finally settled in Vankleek Hill. Connie will be fondly remembered by her surviving family for her engaging manner, humour, and great cooking!

 

Interment will be held later at the Ayer’s Cliff Cemetery, Ayer’s Cliff Quebec.

 

A donation in memory of Connie to the Maxville Manor Foundation 80 Mechanic Street West, Maxville, Ontario K0C 1T0 would be appreciated.
