Obituary of Elsie Helen Stephens

Stephens, Elsie Helen Unexpectedly but peacefully Elsie passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Sunday February 22, 2015 in her 90th year. Elsie Stephens (née Dorion) was born in St. Andrews East, Quebec and resided in Lachute, Quebec for 60 years and for the last 5 years she lived with her daughter in Vankleek Hill. Predeceased by her husband Eric Stephens. Loving and caring mother of Holly Roebuck (Ernie) of Vankleek Hill and Greg (Eunice) of Orleans. Dearly loved Grandma of Amy Roebuck, Andrea Zihlmann (Martin), Zachary Roebuck and Timothy Stephens. Dear Nana of Todd, Jakob, Heidi and Reuben Zihlmann. Predeceased by her sister Betty Brown. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Elsie will always be remembered for her beautiful hand knit sweaters, delicious apple pie and homemade buns. Friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Thursday February 26,2015 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 27,2015 at the Vankleek Hill Baptist Church, 156 Main Street East, Vankleek Hill at 2 p.m. Spring interment St. Andrews East Protestant Cemetery, Quebec.
