A Tree of remembrance has been lovingly planted by Mikayla Sproule-O’Neil and Lauryn Sproule-O’Neil.
Grandpa, I still can’t believe you’re gone. Just yesterday we were sitting outside at your place, talking and enjoying one another’s company... now we’re sitting in the yard at your place remembering all the wonderful memories of you. I enjoyed every minute of time I spent with you, and all the great memories we made together, whether it was simply going to the store shopping or when we would all go to the Highland games, plowing match, all the other fairs, all the woodworking projects we made, all the late night card games, planning Mom and Dad’s 15th anniversary, hosting my baby shower and even just camping at your place all these years. You were not only a wonderful father, but also brother, grandpa, great-grandpa, friend and much more. Although Lauryn never really had the chance to get to know you, she will always know what an amazing great grandpa you were to her. You two had a great bond right from the start. She enjoyed having you give her her bottles, listening to you play the chanter; I can imagine how much she would’ve loved to hear you play the bagpipes. Best buddies for life xx. We are taking good care of Spinner for you. I know you came to visit us at the farm the other day cause all of a sudden there was a little black and yellow butterfly flying around us all, I knew it was you because your favourite colour was yellow <3 The fact that you are no longer here will always cause me pain but you’re forever in my heart, until we meet again. Heaven gained another Angel,
Rest In Peace Grandpa.
Love always, Mikayla and Lauryn xoxo
