Obituary of Gaëtan Charbonneau

M Gaëtan Charbonneau de Vankleek Hill est décédé à l’Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury, le mercredi 28 avril 2021 a l’âge de 87 ans. Il était le fils de feu Lucien Charbonneau et de feu Alexina Pommainville. Tendre époux de feu Carmen Charbonneau (née Plouffe). Père bien-aimée d’ Aline Gratto (Steve), Paul (Kathleen), Michel (Lynn), Josée Mercier (Gilles) and Lucie Lepage (Yvon). Grand-père adoré de Marc (Jennifer), Melanie (Michaël), Mathew (Tanya), Natasha (Dillon), Julie (Nicolas), Benoit (Dominique), Valérie, Chris, Jessie (Sandy), Christian (Julie), Isabelle (Marc-André), Maxime (Martine) et Andréanne (Gabriel). Prédécédé d'une petite fille Natalie. Arrière-grand-père de Emma, Emerick, Piper, Thatcher, Mikael, Alexi, Lily Rose, Meliane, William, Daphne, Kathia, Isaac, Xavier, Félix, Malik et Kloée. Prédécédé par une arrière-petite-fille Nadia. Chère frère de Rita. Prédécédé par ses frères Maurice, Yvon et Marcel et des sœurs Thérèse et Colette. Lui survivent également plusieurs nièces et neveux.

 

Etant donné les circonstances actuelles un service religieux aura lieu dans l’intimité familiale à l’église Saint-Grégoire-de-Nazianze à Vankleek Hill, Ontario. La famille et les amis sont invités à assister à la diffusion en direct sur internet de la messe  de funérailles le vendredi 7 mai 2021 à 11 heures ( Cliques ici ). Un enregistrement sera affiché peu après la fin du service.

Peacefully at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Wednesday, April 28,2021 Gaëtan Charbonneau of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 87. Predeceased by his parents Lucien Charbonneau and Alexina Pommainville. Beloved husband of the late Carmen Charbonneau (née Plouffe). Loving father of Aline Gratto (Steve), Paul (Kathleen), Michel (Lynn), Josée Mercier (Gilles) and Lucie Lepage (Yvon).

 

Cherished grandfather of Marc (Jennifer), Melanie (Michaël), Mathew (Tanya), Natasha (Dillon), Julie (Nicolas), Benoit (Dominique), Valérie, Chris, Jessie (Sandy), Christian (Julie), Isabelle (Marc-André), Maxime (Martine) and Andréanne (Gabriel). Predeceased by his granddaughter Natalie. Proud great-grandfather of Emma, Emerick, Piper, Thatcher, Mikael, Alexi, Lily Rose, Meliane, William, Daphne, Isaac, Xavier, Félix, Malik and Kloée. Predeceased by his great-granddaughter Nadia. Dear brother of Rita. Predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Yvon and Marcel and his sisters Thérèse and Colette. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, and nephews.

 

 

In light of the current circumstances, a Private Funeral Mass will be held at Saint-Grégoire-de-Nazianze, Vankleek Hill. Family and friends are invited to view a live Webcast of the Funeral Mass on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11 am.
