I have many fond memories of hanging out at the Higginson household when growing up. I know there were 10 kids but sometimes there seemed to be a lot more. It was a very busy but happy place for sure. Hugs to all.

I was very sad to hear of the passing of Peter. He fought a hard battle and lost, unfortunately. I knew him from way back to my high school days, and he was always the one to make people smile and laugh. Very easy going person to be around. You will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to Manon, his sons and the whole family. RIP my friend.

Peter - I remember you as a baby as I helped Mum with my younger siblings. I remember you when we played games and you liked to win. I remember coming home at Christmas and providing sweaters for you and my younger siblings. I remember you with Jason at Welby and how much you loved him. I remember you helping Mum out with the farm. I remember you marrying Manon. I remember you treating Fred as if he was your own son. I remember you mowing the lawn at Welby with Jason and me helping mow the lawn with you. I remember going to church with you and Mum before COVID. I am so appreciative of how you helped Mum. I thank you for asking to see me the last time I was in Hawkesbury and you were upbeat and we talked about the house. I will try to help Manon, Fred and Jason as go forward.
