Condolences
Barbara help a great deal during my graduate student at Western in the early 1980's . Very kind and ready to help all the lost students. Rest in peace dear Barb, and my sincere condolence to her family and friends.

Barb was my Chemistry 012 lab demonstrator during my first year at Queen's. She was an intelligent, kind, helpful, and friendly person who taught me a lot about what it meant to be a chemist. She had a considerable influence on my decision to pursue a career in Chemistry myself. As one of many whose lives she touched, I send condolences to her family and pray that she may rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Barbara . Helen and I offer our deepest sympathies.
I have such fond memories of Barbara as a little boy around the corner in Vankleek Hill.
My heartfelt condolences go to Jean, Philipp and Stewart. Barbara was my colleague and friend in Thunder Bay. We used to go hiking, kayaking, swimming and skiing together. Once we skied in moonlight at Kakabeka trails and could not always see the turns on the trail. We would enjoy a hot drink and munchies after our activities. Taking a sauna at my cabin was Barbara's favourite treat and we would run to Lake Superior to cool down. One November night she urged us to crouch on the shore and let those horrendous waves roll over us. Then back to the heat of the sauna! When the lake froze and the snow fell we would roll in the snow. Not only did we spend time outdoors but we regularly went to the North of Superior Film Association movies, attended concerts and theatre shows in town. We did not skip the opening nights at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery, and although we might have been the skinniest guests, we helped ourselves to huge amounts of delicacies at the reception. Oh we enjoyed everything! Barbara gave me many drawings from the surrounding nature and I will treasure them the rest of my life.
Our sincere condolences to the Kronberg family.
Jean our deepest sympathy to you and all your family in the loss of your sister. In the short time we have been neighbours we knew Barbara as a very congenial person. We always enjoyed our little chats with her when we would encounter her on our walks.
Her love of nature and animals was very apparent. No doubt she will be sadly missed however may your fond memories of her prevail.
Rest In Peace Barbara
Willis and Lorna Silverson

My condolences to the the Kronberg family. I remember skiing with my father and Barbara when I was younger, and I believe that her name is still prominently displayed as a contributor in the Kamview Nordic Centre here in Thunder Bay.
It is with deep sadness that my sister Faye informed me of the passing of Barbara. Truly a very special person so kind and gentle. I grew up with Baraba in Vankleek Hill and went through school with her. Please except my sympathy Philipp,Jean and Stewart. You are in my prayers & thoughts.
My family and I send our deepest condolences to the Kronberg family. I am the son of Julieta Riley (who past away in March 2013) and remember Barbara fondly as a great friend to my Mother. She was a lovely guest to all of our family celebrations and miss her brilliant mind during those jolly times.

My sympathy to Jean, Phillip and Stewart in the loss of a very dear sister. I cherish many happy memories of Barbara from childhood years. We hiked and biked through the countryside around Vankleek Hill and spent many a winter Saturday afternoon skating round and round at the local arena. Barbara was a remarkable person, intelligent, compassionate and a very good friend. Wishing you peace and comfort at this time.

My sincere condolences to Philipp, Jean and Stuart on the loss of Barbara. Many wonderful memories from our school days together in Vankleek Hill and get-togethers at our cottage, or our family homes. Barbara was always so much fun. And especially great memories of our last luncheon get-together in VKH.
Please accept my deepest sympathies Barbara to you and the entire family.
Barbara was a lovely lady who will be dearly missed
So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing... She was so sweet to everyone, but most of all to the doggies she would meet. She was Nemo's best buddy. It was an honour to have her in my classes for a few years before her illness no longer made it possible. Please give Bob and Nemo a big hug in heaven for me, Barbara... xoxo
We would like to extend our sincere sympathies to the Kronberg family. Having grown up together and attending school together we have many fond memories of Barbara. Gary and Jean Barton
