Dear Faye and Joy - I was sorry to learn of Dale's death. I was looking for information about my grandmother, Annie Fraser. My mother is Doris Margaret Fraser. I used to come to visit you in Vankleek Hill in 1948, 49, 50. I remember your father's store and pumping water in the front yard. One time we were chased down a lane by pigs. I would love to hear from you after all these years. I am married to Rudy Wolski and live in Alberta.

Dear Faye and Joy: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember Dale from high school days as being a caring and sensitive guy....the big brother of one of my best friends at VCI. He always had time for a pleasant word, even years after those wonderful days. May all your happy memories sustain you and all his family.

Dale always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. His humour and kind heart is what drew people near him. He always liked to pull pranks on me as a kid and we always had a good time together. Dale and Lise would come over every summer or we would go over to their home for a special lunch or dinner that we took turns preparing and we all would catch up on the news for the past year. I know God is with him and he is in a better place now... Forever in my heart, Dale is an important figure in my life and will always be remembered by his Goddaughter. Love Ireland. xo

I first met Dale when working for Gerry Langlois in Hawkesbury in the 1980s. Dale often came in with land appraisals. Just his presence buoyed you for the day - his humour and good nature. He suggested I buy a house in Vankleek Hill that was for sale. Loved the house but could not afford it. Someone else bought it. Years later, I married the fellow who bought the house! Through this house, Denis and I have always felt we have a special link to Dale. Lise, we send you and your family our sincere sympathy for this tremendous loss.
