Obituary of Patricia Nancy Séguin
Séguin, Patricia Nancy
Owner of P & P Used Books
Today I’m writing this obituary in honor of the life of my wife Patricia Seguin born Sullivan who passed away after a brief battle with cancer. This is by far the saddest day in my life. Let me tell you briefly about Pat, my Pat who was loved by all members of my family as well as the greater public. The pride I felt when we walked hand in hand is immeasurable. The void she leaves could never be filled.
Patricia was a fine woman, a woman of character, A lady with class and grace yet a very down to earth Social butterfly. At her bookstore Patricia dealt with tons of people and developed friendships with most of her regular customers at the drop of a hat. Pat would welcome every customer who crossed the doors of her bookstore. She would always say “Hi my love, what can I help you with today to the delight of her patrons. To her daughters she was a model to emulate, a friend who would listen, and a confident during challenging passages of their lives.
Patricia was my wife, my woman and I was her husband, her man…. Oh, how proud I felt in her company, I was always pleased and eager to introduce her to my friends and family because you see as they say, I knew that I had landed quite a catch. My dear Babe throughout the course our lives I long to please you my babe. Never has there been a person more important than you in my life nor will there will ever be. Until the day we meet again… I will restore you daily in my mind in all your glory my love.
I am not a devout religious man but I am a spiritual man who knows the difference between right and wrong. I do not know if there is a God or heaven…. But This I know IF there is a such a place then my Pat is already getting reacquainted with her friends and loved one who preceded her.
In your honor my Pat, I will try to be the best man I can for the remainder of my days. I will watch over our daughters as they march ahead through life facing their own challenges. For they are the most precious gifts born of our sacred union.
Good bye for now my love, we shall soon be reunited for eternity. Most Sincerely from the bottom of my heart your husband~ Pierre
