I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Steele's passing. My thoughts are with all the family at this difficult time.
Hi,
My sincere condolences as well are extended to the whole family. Phyllis was always interested in asking about how things were going with living in Halifax, my job and such, when I came home and saw her at church and then later at the Heritage. This kind of interest and support is something that I value greatly, and am sure that you have all benefitted from too. Thinking of you during this time.
My sympathies on the passing of your dear mother . She was a lovely lady and mom enjoyed her company at the lodge. She was very proud of her family.
Don and I are thinking of you during this difficult time. Thank you for posting her Celebration of Life Service for all to see. It was a beautiful service, she would have been so proud of all those who took part. It included everything she enjoyed - her children/ Grandchildren, her faith, music and just a little bit of humor. Visiting your Mom/Grandma was a pleasure, she was an interesting and entertaining lady. Hold on to your wonderful memories, she would want you to smile when you think of her.
My deepest sympathy to the Steele family. Your mom was a very nice lady always a warm greeting when you crossed her, when I visited my mom at the Heritage lodge.
A Tree of Remembrance was planted by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the staff of Hillcrest Funeral Home.
To the Steele Family: Our sympathy to all of you on the loss of a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a beautiful lady... her inner beauty shone in her smile and caring manner. Dear Ruth, Karin, Glenn and Bob,

Dear Karin, Glenn, Bob, and Ruth and families,
Deepest sympathies to you all on the passing of your wonderful Mom, Phyllis. She was someone I so admired and considered a role model in my life. It was a joy to see her everytime we crossed paths. Such a positive and energetic person. I treasure the recipes she gave me as part of my shower gift from her, and many happy memories.
Her online funeral meant I could be with you offering a prayer and best wishes for the next stage in her journey. Thank you to all who made this possible. The music and the service was beautiful.
May your treasured memories sustain you during this difficult time. Sincerely, Kim
