Obituary of Joan Marie Porter

Joan Porter (nee Heffernan) 

1926-2020

It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Joan Marie Porter (nee Heffernan) on Friday, September 4,2020 in the afternoon at the Hawkesbury General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Porter.

Dear sister of Ameara (Kempinski) of California. Pre-deceased by her brother Kevin.  She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Joan will be fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Joan was born in Montreal, Quebec, after marrying Ronald she moved to Hawkesbury where she lived a full and happy life dedicated to her extended family, her community and her church.
 

In respect of Joan's wishes and Covid 19 a Private Graveside Service will be held at the Hillside Cemetery, Hawkesbury. 

In memory of Joan a donation to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation or to the SPCA of your choice would be appreciated.
