my heart-felt sympathies go out to aunt jane's family. she was a person who you could talk to, visit with, and party with, and still be enjoying her presence and she always was a walking book of knowledge to all the problems in every-day life! aunt jane was a leader in women's rights and needs and their place in history! aunt jane was "old school" in the living color!!!!!!!!!!!!! she could give you an answer to all your med. questions and also give you the up-dated version to what she had learned and used from days gone by. aunt jane, was always there as an aunt and second mother to all her nephews and nieces. she would always smoother us all with her excellent baking skills! her butter-tarts were to die for and were very much cherished by all that had one!!!! she was an amazing chef in the kitchen and loved being there!!!!!!!! she loved each and every one of her nephews and nieces! and she had many, but all loved her for herself and of course-her cooking!!!!!!!!! she was a truly a family oriented person, and loved her moma and her 3 sisters, and all of their offspring!!!!! and all of her of spring-grand-children and also great-grand kids!!! aunt jane always made you fell like you were special or someone she wanted to talk with!!! w and I had numerous chats in person and on the phone with aunt jane. she was such, such an interesting person to talk to. she had been a world traveler and an world knowledge able person! and had been a leader in some ways of the women's rights and never wanted recognition. I will always remember mi best times with my aunt jane, and know that now she is with ken her husband and the love of her life!!!! and that makes me happy!!!! aunt jane will always have a huge part of my heart and I would not have it any other way. sincerely, brian-ttrent

My deepest condolences to all of your family on the passing of Jane. She will be remembered fondly by myself & many students who shared her stories & experiences while she was a parent volunteer in my classroom for 7 years. She listened to all of their "woes" & "joys" with patience, advice & laughter. We also cherish a hand-made baby quilt Jane made for my first grandchild. RIP dear friend. Audrey Amell

During my time at the Heritage Lodge as Activity Manager, Jane was an active participant in crafts, gardening, photo booths, health discussions and musical events. During the run for Mayor of Champlain, it was so much fun to present the candidates to Jane who had pointed questions and advise for each of them should they become the future mayor! Lovely lady I so enjoyed!

I am very sad to hear of Jane’s death. She was and always will be a very special woman! I loved the way she spoke the truth as she saw it. And I think of her on my birthday because when she was able she would gift me with a dozen of her amazing butter tarts. We laughed at things together, spoke of faith together. I miss her and I am sure you all miss her even more. I am so sorry for your loss. Blessings to you all at this difficult time.
We are so sorry for your loss. Our sympathy goes out to the Allen family. Stacia and Jeff

About 30 years ago I went to the farm with Sara for the weekend. I had never been on a farm before. While Sara did chores,(Not for me!) I stayed in kitchen with her Mom. That’s where I got the pie crust recipe she wrote out for me. And many other tips She had some pretty funny stories too.
It was a great weekend in the country. ❤️
Sincere sympathy to all the family.

Deepest sympathies to you all Sara, Scott and Faye, Kent and Lorraine and families. Such a huge loss during such a difficult time. Loved your Mom .. it was a joy to interact with her whenever we crossed paths. I will so remember her sparkling eyes, beautiful dimples, and great wit, and great and matter of fact humour. We shared so many laughs together. It was so beautiful that she insisted she come to Kevin's wake last May ... it was so wonderful to see her and give her a great hug that day. Sending hugs right back to all of you virtually today. Love and Peace ... Kim, Bob and family
