I would always look forward to the holidays (Thanksgiving in Leamington) or trips Up North to see my family. Seeing my Grandparents was very important to me. Grandpa Ivan and I would always talk sports. He cared about all of his grandkids and what they were doing with their lives. We talked hockey, CFL football and always about the Detroit Tigers. My brother and I would talk with Grandpa Ivan about getting him to put on the goalie pads and get in net for us. He always said he would and we all would laugh about it. I also remember one time when we were Up North and Grandpa Ivan and I got talking about his trophy collection. He had a lacrosse trophy that he earned when he played against Native Americans on a reservation. What an amazing story. I am so proud to have a Grandfather like him, who was a firefighter, participated in the military and was a great husband for my Grandmother Irene. Gob Bless Grandpa Ivan and I want to thank him so much for being an inspiring man to me. We send all of our best wishes to all of the people that Grandpa Ivan has influenced. Love Ted and Katie Falkner
In loving memory of Ivan who became part of our family 36 years ago. He was my stepdad, my children's (Lori & Mark) grandfather and my grandchildren's (Ayden, Ryan, Anna, Ben, Emily and Samantha) "old papa". He loved my mom with all his heart and we loved him. From your loving daughter, Judy
Dear Jeff, Anne, Chloe, Olivia, Auntie Irene, David, Shellie and Richard, Uncle Ivan was such a wonderful man. He holds a very special place in our hearts. We share in your sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Faye, Paul and Nicholas
