Celebration of Life/ Célébration de vie
Condolences
Mrs. Brisebois was my 4th grade teacher at PCPS. I remember she had the longest flowing hair, so to see this picture of her older with short hair makes me smile. I remember she taught me to keep in character when acting. I also remember we had a school winter Olympics that year. But my strongest memory is of the eraser fight. Someone asked someone for an eraser, and someone tossed it and hit someone else. So that person flung an eraser back. And so it went, until one was flung towards the front of the class... and rolled right under Mrs. Brisebois' nose as she was writing on her desk. I don't remember the punishment, but we all got into trouble.
Our sincere condolences to the Kennedy family and the Brisebois family. Cathy was a very good friend and our neighbour for about 40 years. We will miss her regular visits, walks and conversations, keeping each other informed on current concerns, projects, news or whereabouts. She was good-hearted, offering to help people and/or support organizations for causes she believed in. We will always remember you Cathy. Rest in peace.
Nous aimerions remercier Madame Brisebois pour son implication comme bénévole aux Services communautaires de Prescott et Russell auprès de la popote roulante. Thank you for her involvement with seniors receiving the meals delivery. Sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families. Sylvie Leclair (Executive Director of the PRCS)

Cathy was a good friend. To her mom and all her family, please accept our sincere condolences.
Heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Norma Kennedy, the whole family, close relatives and numerous friends for the lost of Cathy.
My sister and I had the Sears catalogue office in Alfred and often Cathy, who we considered more as a friend and not just a customer was a regular . We had chances of chats and exchanges with her when she picked up her parcel which was frequently, with always a nice greeting accompanied by a huge smile that would enlightened her face even after a tiring school day.
Being a schoolteacher all her working life, I am sure she left deep and changing foot prints in her many students' lives,
that altered their lives for the better...
Cathy,we shall keep you in our hearts. Rest in peace.
Mina and Christiane Lavoie...Alfred, ON
Mrs Brisebois was my son Luc's Grade 2 teacher at PCPS. She was the right teacher, who helped a little boy adjust to a new school, a new family life. We have, & will continue to hold warm & grateful memories of Mrs. Brisebois. Thank you.
