Condolences
All my memories of Art are great. One comes to mind, Driving to Jimmy's Lake to go fishing. Of course in the jeep with a boat in tow. As we cruise through the bush he yells get ready to jump. To this day I am not sure if he was serious but was it ever fun. That Jeep has a legion of it's own from the Day Art drove it to the lake in a Rain storm (no roof) at 45 miles per hour and Jackie following in a brand new Galaxie 500, nice and dry, to pulling out tree stumps and taking all the kids fishing (if we were lucky)..Believe me it was not the Jeep. It was Art and the Jeep. They were a team with fun written all over it. Gord.
Our deepest sympathy to Art’s family.yE4eN
Art was the very best brother-in-law and fill-in father that anyone could ever have asked for. He will be with me in spirit until the time that I am called into eternal life where hopefully we will meet again.
A Tree of Remembrance was planted by Mark and Lisa Henderson and the Hillcrest Funeral Home Staff.
Our sincere condolences Jackie & David and family.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss, my condolences to Jackie and Dave as well as all family members.
I was just a little kid growing up at the other end of craig's lake so we didn't really see alot of the jones family but I will always remember Art's ( mr Jones to me ) old jeep and the time he took me for a ride to McGaliers lake in it . WHAT A RIDE . THAT LITTLE KID IN ME WILL NEVER FORGET THAT RIDE.
.
So many memories, too many to list, but all good ones! ......you will always be the perfect Brother in Law! It's not easy to summarize 60 plus years but I will say that they were 60 plus years of family love and adventures, through good times and bad times Arthur was there. RIP, we will always love you.
