Peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice on Friday, April 19, 2019 after a strong fight with brain cancer, Royce Nixon of Maxville passed away at the age 77. Predeceased by his parents James Morgan Nixon and Inez Margaret Waite. Beloved husband of June (née Lasalle). Loving father of Roydon (Audra) of Maxville, Garry (Jennifer) of Edmonton, William (Jane) of British Columbia. Predeceased by his infant son Glen. Proud Grandpa to Sarah (Andre) and Courtney of Oshawa. Also sadly missed by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon followed by a Celebration of Royce’s Life at 12:15 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cornwall Hospice 205 Amelia Street, Cornwall, Ontario K6H 3P3 would be appreciated.
