Obituary of Doris Tranter

Tranter, Doris (nee King) July 4 1925-January 4, 2012 Doris passed away peacefully at the age of 86,surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Bill Tranter and proudest of her children- Susan, Nancy (Pak), Wendy (Jean-Marie) Billy (Sasha), Betsy (Rich) and Stan (Judy). She was the adored Nanny to Beate, Heidi, Schura, David, Michael, Steven, Tommy and Katie and Big Nanny to Jonathan, Jessica, Matthew, Natascha and Taylor. She was a loving sister to Norm (Audrey), Mary (Carl) and sister-in-law to Bette (Bill), Sue (Al) and Joyce, her dearest, lifelong friend. She was also loved by her many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Doris had requested a private family service.
