She was a steadfast in her love for the Lord. She always reminded me to love Jesus and serve him. One day we got to talking about the time around WW2. She lit up about how happy everyone was when the war was over and when the boys came home. It was a time of mixed emotions for her and her friends. Happy the boys came home, but it was a sombre time as well. Not all the boys came back the way they left. This story mirrors the way I feel about saying goodbye. Happy and yet sombre. Happy she is with the Lord and sombre at the fact she is gone now.
Sorry to hear of your loss. I know you will miss her. She has had a full life and now she is with the Lord. Home at last! Our thoughts are with your family at this time
My heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time. May the Lord bless and comfort you in your time of grief. Please know that my prayers are with you.

With loving memory from Stephen & Natasha Tomes. She was our beloved Grandmother and although she will be sorely missed we are glad she has been called home to with Our LORD. Grandma Brodie fell asleep and was "promoted to Glory"
