Dear Margaret Over the ocean, from Switzerland to Canada, our thoughts are with you every day. With all our love: Louise and Ernst, Emmeli, Anneli, Ursula and Gil, Rolf and Ursula, Doris.
My deepest Sympathy to Margaret(Mom) and the whole family in this very sad time.
Dear Wyss Family, I have the fondest memories of Adolfo from the many times he visited Calgary. What struck me most of all was his unbelievable generosity and kindness to his Grandchildren, our Grandchildren. How lucky we are to have had him in the Newton family.
Our deepest sympathy to Margaret and to our cousins. Our thoughts are with you all in this sad time. He was my godfather and he touched me deeply by bringing a lot of love into my life. He was an extraordinary person, courageous, generous, full of love and he had a great sense for his familiy. I'll remember him with gratitude. Our heartfelt Sympathy, the Streich Family
Our family is so thankful to have met such a special man and his wonderful family. We will cherish our visits to the farm where we felt so welcome and will never forget the huge smiles on everyone's faces (especially Mr Wyss) as the kids enjoyed the special playhouse, the laughter, the gardens and the best darn chicken patties ever! What a perfect, timeless photo to capture the essence of family at Bill & Michelle's wedding. Lloyd and Alice were so honoured to play host for such an important event with such beautiful people. Forever in our hearts.
Our family out in Calgary is unspeakably sorry for the loss of a great human being. Papa to Samantha, Charlotte and Rowan - and father-in-law to me; Adolf was a great character and a fantastic man. He will be deeply, sorely, and endlessly missed. Sincere condolences to the Wyss family on Adolf's passing.
Sincere condolences to the family, Mr Wyss was a very special person who touched everyone he met and will be missed by all.My thoughts are with all of you at this moment.
Dearest Bill (and the Wyss Family), We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Father (Husband and Grandfather). Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time! I remember how excited Venn was to show me his special box made by your Dad full of Chocolate from his "Papa Chocolate"! What a special memory for Venn. Your Dad sounded like a special man even for those of us who didn't have the opportunity to meet him! Big hugs to you all. With much love Sandee, Perry, Ava and Piper
It is difficult to say good bye to a beloved brother. We share your sadness and we are sure that Adolf will stay with us, love is stronger than death and we know that he loved his family and all of us. The souvenirs of the great time we spent with him and Margaret during his last visit in Switzerland on May 2012 will remain in our hearts. There is a proverb that says “Life is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset”. He will watch over us and protect us, and we all will think about him at every sunset. We will miss him very much.
Our deepest Sympathy to the whole family in this sad time.
Thinking of all of your family at this time. May you cherish the memories and find comfort knowing that your dad, your husband, your grandfather, touched so many lives in many different ways.
The Wyss Family May fond memories of your loving husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather(Papa Chocolate) bring you comfort during this hard time in your lives. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and smile at the fact that you were able to share these before he passed away. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your families. May you take comfort in the fact that you are surrounded by people that love and care for you. Hugs Ted & Susan.
I met Adolf in 1995 - the year before I married his daughter Terry. From that time until now, he was nothing but a generous and exceptionally kind man. Every one of his children, their spouses, and his grandchildren love him dearly, and his passing leaves an enormous hole in our hearts. We all have so many fond memories of our time with him that there aren't enough pixels on the internet to accomodate them all - memories of chasing pigs, clearing out the barn, enjoying fondues in the summer house, glasses of wine by the fire, plates of sliced meat, family barbeques, trips to Ontario and to Calgary... I could type until my fingers fell off, and it wouldn't cover the start of how we all feel about Adolf, and to what extent he'll be missed.
Sent with adoration and respect for a good man.

I had received a job offer to go to North Carolina and informed Aldof of such. I had a family to raise and take care of, as did Aldolf with his. Aldolf loved my family and did not want us to leave to go to such a forbidden place. He offered one of his farms to have us stay. But I said I needed to go onto the business course that I have taken. He also being an engineer understood, but was not pleased with my decision.
Never in my life has someone opened their heart as Aldof did with me. For that I will be forever beholding.
My Sincere Condolence Miss Wyss and family from the Desabrais family.
