It is with great sadness that we announce on Thursday, July 5, 2018 Doris Sproule (née Smith) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 83. Predeceased by her parents Arnold Smith and Dorothy Howes. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Sproule. Loving and caring mother of Harold and Monica Hepburn (Scott) Proud and much loved Grandma of Graham and Rebecca. Dear sister of Beverly Carkner (Gerald) and Lynn McGowan (Neil). Predeceased by her brothers Clarence and Howard. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. A Private Family Service will be held at Cassburn Cemetery, L;'Orignal, Ontario.  In memory of Doris, a donation to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation 40 Ruskin Drive, Room H2408, Ottawa, Ontario K1Y 4W7 would be appreciated.
