Obituary of Leslie William Dandy

It is with great sadness that the family of Leslie William Dandy announce his passing on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026 at the age of 71.

Leslie will be lovingly remembered by his wife Donna (nee Anderson); children, Jody, Sarah(Scott); grand-children, Logan, Lily; mother Anna(nee MacLeod); siblings, Wayne (late Debbie), Connie, Allen, Kathy(David), Scott (Mitzi), Linda (Gerry); his aunt's, uncle, many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his father Lyle; in-laws Joe and Natalie Anderson. 

Raised in Stardale, he was a proud dairy farmer and a loved school bus driver.  A devoted family man. His smile, quick wit, quiet presence, encyclopedic mind and twinkle in his eye will be fondly remembered.

A private family graveside burial will be held on Tuesday, June 16th at Hillside Cemetery in East Hawkesbury. 

An open public celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 2nd from 2-5 p.m at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, 136 Bond St. All are welcome that afternoon.
