Obituary of Kelly Lefebvre

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Kelly Lefebvre on September 26, 2025, at the age of 61.

Beloved daughter of the late Walter Prince and Sheila Reardon, Kelly was a devoted mother to Sean and Brianna, and cherished sister to Christine (Christopher) and Jennifer (Doug). She will be deeply missed by her former husband of 25 years, Gerry Lefebvre, and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Aiden, Alyssa, Colin, Kyle, Patrick, and Nicholas.

Kelly had a passion for reading, crafting, Irish dancing, travelling, and going on cruises. She was also a proud and active member of the Junior C Vankleek Hill hockey committee, where she generously gave her time and energy to the community.

She leaves behind her loyal companions—her dog Bauer and her cat Hazel—who brought her great comfort and joy.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Moore and the staff at the Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Vankleek Hill Arena, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share memories.

The VKH JRC Trust Fund awards one annual bursary to each of the three local high schools, supporting students who are involved in hockey and pursuing post-secondary education — a tribute that reflects Kelly’s enduring love for the game and commitment to youth in his community.
