Obituary of Frank Jr Webber
Frank John “Frankie” Webber Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 55, on August 5, 2025, in Hawkesbury, Ontario. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Sr. and will be forever missed by his daughters, Elizabeth and Emily, his mother Susan, his siblings Nancy and Donnie (Erika), his nephews Liam and Logan, and closest friends. Frankie was full of life and laughter, always putting his loved ones first.
Frankie was a son, a brother, a father and a friend. He was someone who could always make you laugh even when you didn’t feel like it. His honesty, sense of humor, no nonsense way and loyalty will always be remembered.
A proud Newfoundlander, who spent most of his life in Hawkesbury. He lived life with a contagious grin, bright spirit, a heart full of love and deep love for his family. He always had a KISS for you no matter what. Above all, he was a devoted father to his two daughters, who were his pride and joy. Anyone who knew him saw just how deeply he loved them. His affection for his daughters was visible in the way he spoke about them and the way his face would light up when they were around. To him, family was everything.
Often, he would stop in to see his mother knowing full well that his supper would be ready for him, any and every day of the week. Whether he ate in or took it to go, it was always ready, a real Momma’s Boy! He loved going to his brother’s house just to hang out – he knew the love was there. He was happiest when surrounded by the ones he loved. He loved nothing more than spending time with his daughters and nephews- fishing, sitting around the firepit, taking the kids for a dogsled ride, you name it, he was game for it- as long as the kids wanted it. Even getting his haircut from his girls- Proud as a Peacock, with the outcome, no matter how it looked! He was always seen wearing his “vest his sister made him” – worn with pride and often teased the guys by saying, “I bet your sister never made you a vest!” Very proud and loud when it came to his children, parents, sister, brother and his nephews. He stated frequently, “We are Webbers, we stick together, we are Strong!” this is how he lived his life, and we loved him for it!
He was born in Newfoundland and always carried his roots with pride. He had a special way with people giving out nicknames left and right, always with a grin; Such as- Billy Bob, Puss in Boots and Bullwinkle just to name a few, as a kid one of his nicknames was -Harley and the Pedal Bike Gang! If you had a nickname, you knew you were special! He was loyal and down to Earth and always ready for a laugh.
He leaves behind family and friends who loved him dearly. Remembering the fun times and his stories will never get old. Whether he was opening a beer or having a cigarette he knew how to live life his way and we loved him for that.
