Obituary of Viola Lacroix

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Lacroix (nee St-Jean) who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025 at the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of the late David St-Jean and the late Clémentine Rochon and the beloved wife to the late Clarence Lacroix. She leaves in sadness but with wonderful memories her children, Monique Kelly (William), Denis Lacroix and Alain Lacroix (Diane). She was the adored grandmother to André (Mélissa), Kathleen (Jeffrey), Kelsey, Sofia, Natasha, Shana (Chad), Jacky (Danielle) and the cherished great-grandmother to Amélie, Anthony, Taleya, Soran and Waylon. She also leaves in sorrow her sister Gilberte Larocque, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her son Richard Lacroix, her daughter Nicole Lacroix and her brother and sisters Aline, Lucienne, Réné and Gaby. 

The family would like to thank Bayshore HealthCare and Dr. Mélanie Lalonde for their amazing care provided. 

As per Mrs. Lacroix wishes, no services will he held. 

In memory of Mrs. Lacroix, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. 

 A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in Mrs. Viola Lacroix honour in the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.

C'est avec tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Viola Lacroix (née St-Jean), décédée paisiblement le 29 juin 2025 à l'âge de 85 ans. Elle était la fiole de feu David St-Jean et de feu Clémentine Rochon et l'épouse bien-aimée de feu Clarence Lacroix. Elle laisse dans le deuil mais avec de merveilleux souvenirs ses enfants, Monique Kelly (William), Denis Lacroix et Alain Lacroix (Diane). Elle était la grand-mère adorée d'André (Mélissa), Kathleen (Jeffrey), Kelsey, Sofia, Natasha, Shana (Chad), Jacky (Danielle) et l'arrière-grand-mère chérie d'Amélie, Anthony, Taleya, Soran et Waylon. Elle laisse également dans le deuil sa soeur Gilberte Larocque, ainsi que de plusieurs neveux, nièces et amis. Elle fut prédécédée par son fils Richard Lacroix, sa fille Nicole Lacroix et son frères et ses soeurs Aline, Lucienne, Réné et Gaby. 

La famille tient à remercier Bayshore Soins de santé et Dr. Mélanie Lalonde pour les excellents soins prodigués.

Par les velontés de Mme Lacroix, aucune cérémonie n'aura lieu. 

En mémoire de Mme Lacroix, des dons à la Société Canadienne du Cancer seraient grandement appréciés. 

Un arbre en mémoire de Mme Viola Lacroix sera planté dans la McAlpine Forever Forest de Vankleek Hill.
