Obituary of Roy Bell

Royston "Roy" Bell of Vankleek Hill passed away surrounded by his family on Friday June 27th, 2025 at the age of 82.

He was the beloved husband of Daphne (née Hawkes), loved father of Robert (Robin), Alison (Gordon) and Jason (Jodi), loving grandfather to Samantha, Jonathan, Greg, Ian, David, Kelsey, Selena and Austin and cherished great grandfather to Brooklin, Cole, Wyatt, Bryce, Brayden, Reese, Maddison, Briar, Maddison, Trevor, Axell, Mavrick and Annarose.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Palace Long Term Care of Alexandria for the excellent care and attention they gave to Roy.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club. All are welcome to join the family in honouring and remembering his remarkable life.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated.

A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in Roy’s honour in the McAlpine Forever Forest, Vankleek Hill.
