Ann, Florence, Mary and families. My thoughts are with you daily in your grief. I am deeply honoured to have spend my teenage years with Donald in our high school relationship and as prom dates. We grew together and he influenced who I became. He was the perfect gentle-man and set the high standard for my relationships following. I will forever carry those memories in my heart. My condolence.

Wayne & I will always remember Donald for his unique sense of humor, the love he had for his cows and the pride he held for living in Glengarry county.

Sincerely -Wayne & Monique Koggel (Euroflair Holsteins)
Ann, Florence and Mary - my thoughts and prayers are with you as you experience an unthinkable tragedy. Having grown up as neighbours, all four of you and your mom and dad always had a special place in our hearts. Our parents taught us that neighbours are more important at times than family, as they are always there when you need them. Donald stopped off at our table last Easter weekend when the Charlebois family was gathering for lunch at the Alexandria Pizzeria. My siblings all have remembered that last interaction with Donald and how wonderful it was that he took the time to catch us up on what was happening in his life, at the farm with his family. May all of your family memories sustain you through this unimaginable time you are going through.
Our deepest sympathies to all family members from the part of Yves Lalonde and Daniel Levac at

My deepest sympathy to Ann, Mary and Florence and family on the passing of Donald. I have many wonderful memories of visits over the years and he was just at the farm a few weeks ago to tell us about his decision to exit the dairy industry. He bought our hay over the last two years and always made time for a visit. He was a wonderful story teller and I remember his presentation at the Glengarry Holstein Club several years ago on his trip to Ireland to find a stud for a horse he owned. I remember him telling the story of his last night in Ireland. He went to a pub and he parked his rental car near a construction cane so it would be easy to find the next morning. To his surprise he did not realize how many cranes there were. He hired a taxi and went up and down the streets using the key to find his car. We had so many laughs that night. What a wonderful picture on the site. He was so proud of his Jerseys and he told us about keeping her in the house to keep her warm. He was a great cow man and bred many great cows over the years. I will truly miss him. He was one of kind and we will remember him when we attend Holstein events. May the wonderful memories of the life you shared give your peace and comfort at this difficult time.
