My deepest & sincere sympathies to Kevin, Ian, Karen and the families. I was saddened to hear the passing of Mrs. Forbes and all what she and the family endured the past few years regarding her health. Growing up, I will always remember Mrs. Forbes welcoming me into her home countless weekends while Karen and I hang out and being up to no good..sometimes. I remember the smells of Mrs. Forbes’ delicious baking when I would walk into the house. I also will never forget how she would always drive Karen and I back and forth to each other’s places so we could play together. Recently, I was very fortunate to have had the chance to express my gratitude and thank Mrs. Forbes again. As I read her obituary, it’s so true that ‘she was always ready to help in any way’ and with a smile while keeping to herself. To this day, when I bake cookies and as the house smells of baking, I think of Mrs. Forbes and how good she was to me. God bless you and rest easy now. Xo
