I am very sorry to hear of Sandra's passing. I have happy memories of Sandy from McGill days. She was always cheerful, kind and funny. Sincere condolences to Ken and family.
Sandra was my grade 7 teacher back in 1975. I am a teacher now (and have been for 25+ years) in large part because of her. She was wonderful!
Ken,
Im so sorry for the loss of your wife and very best friend. Please know Im thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
I enjoyed my evening chats with Sandra..... especially when the grandchildren were visiting...... I remember one christmas when I was with her and your grandchildren were having a sleepover..... I laughed and said "I think grandpa is in the kitchen filling the kids up with sweets" she smiled and said "well I hope so..... thats our job.... thats why they like the sleepovers so much."
Rest peacefully Sandra..... you will definitely be missed xx
Dear Ken,
Last year you called to ask if you could come to Sandra's BHS reunion at my house, if it was wheelchair friendly. I had responded yes and we were all looking forward to seeing you both here in the garden at the time. Unfortunately that didn't happen for whatever reason and we lost touch.
I am so sorry Sandra didn't have a chance to see her high school friends at that time and even sadder to know now that she has passed away.
Please accept my sincerest condolences to you and your children for your loss.
Her picture is lovely and shows so well her shining personality.
Sincerely,
Jane Guest

My deepest sympathies. I had the privilege of working with Sandy at Fisher Park. She is fondly remembered as a colleague and more importantly as a friend.
I was privileged to have Mrs.Duff as a teacher at Lindsay Place Highschool. I have fond memories of her; she was gentle, kind and a wonderful teacher.
My sincerest condolences.
My sincere condolences to her family.
I remember her fondly as my grade 7 teacher at Lindsay. We knew her as Miss Baburek but I think it was the year she got married. (1976?)

Our Sincerest Condolences to Ken and family at this time. A moment I'll remember for a long time will be Sandy and Ken at Katie's August wedding. I recall Sandy being with her newest grandchild at the Wedding. So much joy on this day. Especially when Sandy smiled at her newest grandchild.
