Obituary for Dorine Fougere

Dorine Fougere
Fougere, Dorine Theresa Patricia (Pearson)
December 12, 1949 – May 5, 2017

Received her Angel Wings, when she passed away peacefully on Friday May 5th, 2017 at the Ottawa General Hospital, surrounded by her family. Dorine Fougere of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia lost her battle with cancer, at the age of 67, but during her fight she never lost her Faith, or her smile. She left this earth, like she will be received in Heaven, Smiling!
She will be sadly missed, and forever remembered by, her beloved husband, Lawrence Fougere, Mother-in-Law, Ruth Fougere and her children; #1 Son Clarence Schwartz, sons George (Anita) Clorey, and John Clorey, and daughter Sherrie (Byron) Randell. She will always be remembered as #2 Mom to her special daughter, Sheri (Rick) Millington. Her loss will be felt tearfully in her grandchildren, Andrew Munroe, Kyle Morris, Cameron Lindsay, Micaela Castelli, Mae Clorey, Caleb, Jacob and Ethan Randell, Payton & Cameron Fougere, as well as her many nieces and nephews, to who she will always be, “Auntie Doe”.
Loving sister to, Danny Pearson, Cathy (Earnest) Whelan, Carol-Ann Pearson, Chris Pearson, Donnie Pearson.
Dorine will be greeted at Heaven’s gate by those who left before her, her mother Catherine Gratton, father, Albert Pearson, sister-in-law, Audrey, and her grandson, Curtis Clorey.
Dorine was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League and was a founding member of the CWL at St. Vincent’s Parish in Dartmouth, who just celebrated their 30th Anniversary.
Dorine was retired from the Government of Nova Scotia, where she worked many years as a Financial Service Officer with the Department of Natural Resources.
Dorine will be remembered by so many friends and family for her undying faith, and for a Smile that never left her. Before sickness struck her, she loved traveling with her husband, Lawrence, especially visiting her many grandchildren in Ontario, where she loved spending “quality time” color with them or teach them a new card game.
A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Divine Love Parish in Pendleton, Ontario Saturday May 13th, 2017 at 10:00am.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
